The leading worldwide provider of in-flight entertainment once known as Global Eagle went under a dramatic brand transformation in 2021, returning to the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2022 show floor as Anuvu, a new brand with “A new look and a “fresh new way of thinking”. AIX is the world’s meeting hub for anything and everything within the cabin interiors industry convening every year in Hamburg, Germany. As the newly rebranded Anuvu’s initial debut at the event, they required a brand experience that embodied their mantra of innovation, reintroducing themselves into the global space.
Anuvu is a company focused on the digital age, so their design concept needed to provide a new and stimulating way of presenting their products and their new brand. Their gradient branding and vibrant colour lent itself beautifully to our design concept. A design focused on movement and connectivity with a futuristic yet contemporary influence to capture the audience’s attention.
The customer journey was pivotal to the final development of the space, focused on 3 different customer experiences: high-profile client meetings, relaxed/casual client conversations and a more generic brand exploration journey through Anuvu’s content and connectivity options. Curved lines and circular structures guided delegates through the world of Anuvu, strategically placed demo stations, meeting lounges, bar hospitality and private meeting rooms were available to suit the different needs of the delegate.
A hanging sign and circular floor designs stood beautifully against the distinct 28m gradient graphic backdrop, carefully hiding the private meeting rooms within the back area of the stand. Bevelled, lozenge shapes, inspired by Anuvu’s branding then created 4 demo pods across the stand, appearing as if to pop out from the background.
In keeping with Anuvu’s theme of digital innovation the 4 demo pods, framed with glowing LED, drew in audiences to the interactive touch screen displays that hosted an ANUVU application of product and brand information, this also doubled up as a presentation screen as well. On the other side of the pods were 2 impactful LED screens, displaying a continuous showreel of Anuvu’s latest entertainment available on their in-flight content systems.
As part of Cook + Associates’ full-service event services we always ensure we can do everything we can to support our clients. So, when Anuvu’s person responsible for events was heading on maternity leave just 6 weeks before the show, we got to work supplying a pre and post-show trade show manager and on-site support manager from our team to ensure their event experience went off without a hitch.
Anuvu’s attendance at AIX 2022 re-established themselves as a critical player in the in-flight entertainment market. Over the 3-day event over 80 business development meetings were held with over 150 new leads and an international Crystal Cabin Award for IFEC + Digital Services to boot! A highly successful event to further their excellence and awareness.
